CORDS
Cords
are used for sealing and insulation of chimney doors and ducts, boilers
and expansion joints, as cable sheathing and for the "caulking"
of gas ducts. Sleevings are applied for thermally protecting insulation
of cables and ducts in the high-temperature range. Furnace door sealing
cords are applied for sealing and insulation of furnace, boiler and chimney
doors.
Applications:
- Sealing and insulation
- Chimney doors, chimney ducts
- Heating boilers
- Expansion joints
- Cable sheathing
- "Caulking " of gas conducts
- Sealing and insulation
- Furnace, boiler and chimney doors
Up
to 550°C GLAS
The
base material of all GLAS textiles are E-glass filament yarns. A large
storage volume and superior insulation properties are ensured by the texturing
procedure. GLAS products are soft and pliable, feel very "textile"
and do not cause any skin irritations nor are hazardous to health.
Up
to 1100°C CERAMIC
Ceramic
staple fibres are the main components of these products. The textile structure
and suppleness as well as the low heat conductivity of the raw fibre provide
excellent insu-lation properties. The rayon staple portion added as so-called
process fibre decomposes from abt. 200°C. Cores spun in from glass
filament yarn or chrome steel wire ensure that the strength is maintained
in spite of the high temperature acting on the products.
